Activities are for events where people take a spot — a five-a-side match, a rugby session, a class, a night out. Unlike a meeting (where people vote on dates), an activity has a fixed date and a roster people join.

Step by step, in the real app

Tap New ora → Activity and choose a family: sports, social, work or custom. For sports, pick the sport — football, rugby, basketball, tennis and more.
Set the date, a start time and a finish time (both required), and the location. If we can pin the location, participants get a small map.
Configure the roster. For pitch sports that means format (5/7/11-a-side) and formation; for other activities, the number of spots. See Set up a roster for the details.
Optionally: a meet-before lead time, chat, an entry fee, or a weekly repeat.
Create it and share the link.

What happens next

Participants claim spots directly on the roster (if self-assign is on — it is by default).
When the roster is full, extra people join the bench / waiting list (on by default) and are promoted automatically if a spot opens.
You get organiser controls at the bottom of the page: lock the roster, shuffle players, share the team sheet, send reminders, edit or delete.

Note: creating an activity needs an account — rosters and organiser tools are tied to you.
